Christmas Series: My Top 10 Christmas Songs

Well, it's this time of the year when you hear Christmas songs in shops, radio, almost everywhere. I like it.. (maybe not as early but...) They always instantly put me in a good mood and help me prepare well to Christmas. And that's why I just can't imagine December without some cheering tracks full of jingling bells.

As I'm a bit of music lover, every year I prepare a playlist full of my 'classics'. But this post would be too long if I'll write about all of them. So I'm just gonna share few of songs with you here and at the end put a link to my this year's playlist.

Oh, numbers aren't supposed to show which song is the most important to me.. I couldn't choose ;)

1. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! performed by Frank Sinatra
I believe that everyone know this song. This is one of most beautiful songs for Christmas and I love Sinatra's voice.
2. The Twelve Days of Christmas (especially performed by Twisted Sister as Heavy Metal Christmas)
I just find it really funny. This song is so cheerful in original version, but with text like "tattoo of Ozzy" it's just amazing!
3. Jingle Bell Rock performed by Billy Idol or Bobby Helms
I can't choose between this two versions. But generally this is next classic. I don't have to describe this song.
4. All I Want for Christmas Is You performed by Mariah Carey
I don't know if I really like this song so much or I just have good memories combined with it. But it's a song with I would definitely listen to and probably sing every Christmas time.
5. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town performed by Bruce Springsteen
And just like previous song, I don't know if I love it or if I just love to singing it. I learnt lyrics to this song when I was a child and still remember it, so it has sentimental meaning for me.
6. Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John Lennon
What could I say.. it 's an amazing song with meaningful lyrics. I truly love it. It isn't just easy happy song. It made us think about some important things and I like it.
7. It Must Be Santa performed by Bob Dylan
Light, easy song. It's just like songs for children but  I'm mentally one ;)
8. Merry Christmas Everyone performed by Shakin' Stevens
It's just remembered me my school times. We used to sing it on English classes, it was such a fun.
9. Please Come Home for Christmas performed by Eagles
I really like to listen to this song during making Christmas decorations or meals.. This is really nice song to play as some kind of soundtrack for your activities.
10. Last Christmas by Wham!
I just must put it here. It's every year's biggest Christmas hit!! Everyone knows words to it, just start singing..

And many more you could find here: Christmas Songs
I'm gonna still upgrade my playlist ;)
