E.L.F. The Fairest of Them All Lip Collection - review + swatches

Hi,
Today, I've got for you something which I was really exited to try. It was a while ago but I just wanna share my thoughts about this products. I love Disney movies so much and of course I love make up. So the concept of using some Disney characters to create new pallettes and sets is something amazing for me.

I know that some other brands also released this kind of products but they usually quite expensive. I also know about other E.l.f sets dedicated to disney villains and Ariel. And now you can also buy sets from "Good vs Evil: Let the Drama begin" collection inspired by Aurora and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

They are so cheap in U.S, but they hardly available international and also they costs three times more. That's why, I was so happy when I had a chance to buy this set for similar to original price.

This set contains three products which you can use individually or together. These are lip balm, lip stain and lip gloss. All in strong red colour which for me really matches Snow White's lip colour. I must say, that I'm not really keen on using reds on my lips, but this one looks really beautiful. Even on me ;)

In general this products are not really long lasting. They highly pigmented and look amazing just after application, but after while you have to put it once again. So it could be good on photoshoot or quick date, not on night-long party.

This is how lip balm looks on my lips. It gives a delicate, healthy looking red colour for lips and  it's perfect for everyday use. Oh, It also smells like chocolate, which is pretty nice but doesn't stay for long.

There you can see a lip gloss. It has nice glossy finish without any glitter or something. It also smells like peppermint and has a little plumbing effect.

And there you've got a lip stain. It's highly pigmented and easy to apply. It has a matte finish and could make your lips a bit dry. So it's better to use it with lip balm.

This is a look which you could make using all three products just like it's written on package.

I don't regret buying this product, but I would recommend it only for people, who could buy it for original price. It's not worth paying too much for it. It's fine set for all Disney lovers and amazingly image Snow White's lips. However, you could find lots of better lip products.

Overall: 3/5
